About this Event

Taking its inspiration from the streets of Paris, the West coast of Africa and the jazz heartland of America this band cooks up a steaming cocotte of song. Fronted by the husky voiced French-American singer Tiffany Schellenberg, who takes her cues from the French chansons of Gainsbourg and Piaf mixed with the jazz roots of Billie Holiday, this newly formed group are creating a new sound with guitarist and arranger Laurence Corns using his experience with African artists such as The Bhundu Boys, Chartwell Dutiro and Stella Chiweshe and swing jazz band The Lost Wandering Blues. With innovative guitar maestro Rob Updegraff, the supremely talented Jay Darwish on double bass and the irrepressible drum machine that is Saleem Raman, this promises to be truly unique night.
