About this Event

Taking inspiration from Professor Longhair, Huey "Piano" Smith, Lee Dorsey and James Booker, this is an evening of outstanding New Orleans-style jazz, blues and funk piano.



Dom Pipkin is a piano player from London UK who taught himself the blues alongside "the grades" as a kid, dug into jazz sometime after, and was booted out of the Royal Academy Of Music sometime in '92. He now tours with Paloma Faith and leads his own group - The Iko's - who play every first Saturday of the month at the Nightjar alongside sets from DJ Lil' Koko.
