About this Event

A night dedicated to the most iconic record label in Jazz.

The house band will take you on a trip right back to its inception in 1939. Paying homage to a label which pioneered 1950s hard bop with Horace Silver and launched the music of John Coltrane.

In recent years the label's music has been sampled continuously by hip-hop producers including Mad-Lib, J Dilla and Questlove.
