HEMAN SHEMAN - https://soundcloud.com/heman-sheman

Heman Sheman are a thrilling guitar band, freshly moved down from Manchester. Their musical gods are The Velvet Underground, De La Soul, Chopin and The Fall, and they have been writing music together since nursery. With a debut release out soon and a string of upcoming gigs around London, it would be stupid not to catch them at the Notting Hill Arts Club on the 17th May.

LILY JUNIPER - https://soundcloud.com/lilyjuniper

Lily Juniper is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from London currently studying at The BRIT school. Her first recording, ‘Plan B’ was made Song of the Day on music industry website Popjustice and the accompanying video, filmed by James Miller around Lily’s beloved Portobello, has hit over 25,000 views on YouTube and Vimeo.

Lily’s musical influences range from Bon Iver and Fink to Kate Bush and James Blake. Her wise-beyond-her-years lyrics and luscious, pure voice have already earned her many fans and she has been sited as ‘one to watch’.

HAZARDS - https://soundcloud.com/hazards-2

A five-piece psych-surf, garage band originating from the sunny seaside town of Falmouth, Cornwall, founded in September 2012. Initially formed for the purpose a University course, the five strangers instantly found chemistry and an equal love for music. Taking members from southwest band, Lost Dawn (associated also with the likes of the Black Tambourines), Hazards infuse the genres of psych, garage, grunge, indie and beach music to create a loud, energy emitting, powerful live act.
