BUKKY is Nigerian/Irish and based in London. She is a producer, songwriter, instrumentalist and singer. Her music can be described as alternative rnb infused electronic psychedelic lo-fi but she really doesn’t like to put her music in a box. She has an eclectic mix of influences that invent her sound. Some have described her music as its own genre. Her influences range from

Rick Rubin, Kate Bush, Frank Ocean, Outkast, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Strokes, FKA Twigs, Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, Yves Tumor, Blood Orange to old school hip hop, and the list goes on. BUKKY incorporates a lot of synthesisers into her music, creating unique textures and celestial soundscapes. Her writing style is facetious yet introspective.
