UNCLE LUC

Luc is a real life Uncle so the name is really no gimmick. Known to his family by this name it was a natural choice. The spelling of Luc however is the French one as there was already an artist in the Hip-Hop world by the name Uncle Luke.

Luc was once in a noisy pop band who over a 10 year period got to do some pretty cool things like play Reading Festival, sessions for Radio 1, countless tours and have their music used in TV and movies. Now he settles for a quieter life as an Uncle.

“Surrey’s number one son” Dermot O’Leary- BBC Radio 2

“Completely irresistible” Artrocker

“Uplifiting” The 405

“When a great band splits up you always hope they will continue to make new music. This is Uncle Luc” Huw Stephens- BBC Radio 1

"Very enjoyable. Sounds great!" John Kennedy –XFM

MATT EMERY

Matt Emery is a Composer, Producer and Songwriter based just outside of London (England)

"Matt Emery, exactly what you want, Yeah Buddy"

Huw Stephens - BBC Radio 1

"His vocal harmonies, intertwined and solo, offer a respite from the anti-sounds of a dreadful day, ebbing from soft whispers to an ocean of sound that would calm even the roughest of seas" The 405

"Hauntingly Ethereal" Tom Robinson - BBC 6 Music

"Atmospheric mood piece like Sigur Ros scoring the piano, he has produced something which is an immersive and thouroughly enjoyable sonic experience"

BURP BOUTIQUE

After the birth of our daughter in 2010 we were astounded that what was available on the high street for her was pink, pink and pink, oh and maybe a tiny bit of yellow. Totally aghast at the pinkification and natural assumption that everyone wants to dress their sons in blue and their little girls in pink we

decided that we could collate a much better collection of unisex, bright, bold, unique and fun clothes that would emanate individuality, so by April 2011 burp! boutique was born. We both come from creative backgrounds so this helps steer our selection process, you won't find anything twee here.

We support British Made, up and coming designers and artists and individualism.

Our mission is to bring you lots of wonderful alternatives - well made clothes (no sweat shops thank you), amazingly illustrated story books, fun squidgy soft toys and unique pieces of art. We'll push the boundaries and always try to bring you something different and fun for your little ones.

THE PORTABLE POTTERY

Potter & teacher, based at Milford, in Surrey. I specialise in throwing on the potter’s wheel, and offer one-to-one tuition. Teaching is totally flexible and you are welcome to visit me by appointment. My work is mainly wheel thrown using white clay & coloured slips. I make pots with a mind to share the pleasure of use, and particularly with thought of presentation in the kitchen and garden. My pots are all hand crafted, affordable, luxurious, handmade and a British product, to enjoy everyday. I use simple forms and crisp shapes and I particularly enjoy turning and refining the surface. Sympathetic consideration informs the decoration, and colour combinations are carefully considered. I work on small batches of items, which allows me to stop to reflect on success of pieces.

Whilst I relish the private time that I am able to spend in my studio, I equally enjoy sharing my skills with others.
