About this Event

The one-and-only DJ Derek, the legend behind the wonderful Sweet Memory Sounds events for 13 years, comes out of retirement on Tuesday 19 August to play a special one-off date.



Expect an inimitable selection interspersed with Derek's observations on the mic as he chooses tunes from across the decades and charts the history of reggae, ska, R&B, calypso and dancehall at the Carnival. London's Scoundrels, a superb blues-rock and '50s R&B-inspired band, play a live set too.
