Fantastic service - better than most restaurants visited in Manchester. Delicious food. We were given a private area for a birthday treat - the staff made a lot of effort to make it a special birthday

I love this place. It’s a quirky entrance at street level and the steps down are steep, but once at the bottom its a modern and sophisticated place. I only visited for drinks but can’t wait to return for a meal since the dining area looked really impressive, with normal tables and more romantic booths and an open kitchen adding to the great vibe. The bar area is equally as good. The bar staff are fast and efficient and there’s plenty of them to ensure the wait isn’t too long even during busy periods. The cocktail menu is unique and varied and the prices aren’t bad for the city centre location. The music was great and all the staff friendly. It’s a bit of a trek from the bar to the toilets but fortunately they were as clean as the rest of the place and a good size. Being underground means there wasn’t any mobile signal but with such a good atmosphere it was nice to escape anyway. It’s a brilliant place and I can’t wait to return.
