Split over 2 levels: the ground floor is a contemporary version of trendy bars now found all over London with exposed pipes, ducts and electrics but in an informal setting. The short but accessible world wine list with many at astoundingly good prices (currently with added value on 'Wine Wednesdays' - all still wines on the list at only £10.95 per bottle), is the wine bar to indulge in Croydon. For enjoyable drinking and for a wine which possess individuality and typify regional terroir, I always start with the Etchart Privado Torrontes 2011 (175ml glass £4.35, 250ml £5.90 , bottle £16). Torrontes is Argentina's signature white grape variety. At 1750 metres above sea level the Etchart Torrontes from Cafayate, in the northern province of Salta is sourced from some of the highest vineyards in the world. I will be happy to talk you through the wine, but space and time is limited on this review. Come with a modest budget and you will still receive time and attention from staff including the wonderful Barman Tom. Bar 10 is definitely worth a visit if only for that bespoke glass of Argentine Torrontes no other bar in Croydon offers. 'THE TERROIRIST' - GvinoGuru
