Upon arrival at The Hive look out for the Ice Experience entrance sign and make your way into Busters pub. Once inside you will see the check in area for the ice experience which is where you’ll receive your Ski expedition pass, a token to exchange for your coat and gloves and drink tokens (depending on package). You can exchange these tokens at our two bars. Once you have received your passes make your way as directed to the Ice Experience departure point (as indicated by our staff member) where your expedition guide will collect you from.
On your way you will be issued with your coats and gloves before you enter the first bar within the ice experience which is our ‘heated’ Avalanche bar - be careful, you may experience a few issues here. Here you can exchange your token for either a beer, glass of wine, signature cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage. Moving onto the Ice Mine bar (where the ice is real) you will get an ice glass and one or two drinks depending on the package.
The Ice experience is a unique immersive experience designed to play with your emotions and senses whilst making you feel like you are in the Ski report! The experience itself is an hour long and you will be in the Ice bar (where it will be below -5 degree) for 20 minutes, if you so dare. For now, the ice bar is for 18+ only.
