Last year we had over 3000 different performers at the venue, all FREE of charge to our fast growing music community.
Both floors offer a quality selection of craft beers, our own Luna pills, selected wine, spirits and Yard Sale pizza.
Our comprehensive listings covers everything from jazz, blues, rock, comedy and art exhibitions. In fact we are considered "the most diverse music venue in London".
‘’So what is Luna Lounge?
The first thing that comes to my mind is that the Luna is a COMMUNITY space. Over the years we have managed to bring together a diverse selection of local and international bands as well as a staggering number of hard core music lovers. Our tiny shop became a place where the music takes you somewhere else, brings people together and help those who are in need of a stepping stone in their music carriers. To make the whole picture you need both; performers and the audience.
There wouldn’t be enough words to describe in how grateful and rich we are with all the talented bands that show us continuous support throughout the years and helped us along the way to chase our dream. Yes we are a tiny space and some might say that we are a bit pricey, but hey we are INDEPENDENT form any breweries or chains. However we are dependent on YOU. You have helped us along the way whether you are a musician or a customer and we would like to thank you. You made the picture whole.
Some people wonder why we collect the money form the audience if we proudly state that we are ticketless. The answer is simple we wouldn’t want to charge on the door and put a price on our friendship. ‘’Pass the hat’’ is an old tradition more common back in a day I would say, but the meaning of it remains the same. Such donations helps us along the way, all the money collected goes to the artists to help with their costs. Luna isn’t a place where bands make a lot of money, they are rather supporters for what we stand for , just like you are. We would never dare to count how many drinks you buy or how much you put ‘’in the hat’’. We would like to think that from the minute you walk in the door you become a member of our music community, and we are truly grateful. London is big and super vibrant and you could spend your time elsewhere, but you are here. Donations can be symbolic but it means a lot to us, like some place said ; every little helps, and it does.
Thank you for being with us on this amazing journey to the moon and back and we only hope we have many more years to come.
