MAYHEM NIGHTCLUB

I used to enjoy my time in Mayhem but in recent years it's been lacking. The floors are sticky, nothing's been refurbished since I first started going back in '08, most of the taps in the gents don't even work and the service has been appalling. The floors are sticky, nothing's been refurbished since I first started going back in '08, most of the taps in the gents don't even work and the service has been appalling. In recent years I've been harassed by bouncers after I left the club with them insisting I leave the area when I was talking to friends who were in the smoking area and when I refused I was forcefully moved despite the fact I was in a public space and they had no jurisdiction to do so and my worst experience that made me never go back was when I was refused service at the bar for having a disability, being ignored by a member of staff who proceeded to talk down to me for having difficulty walking. After leaving a complaint with their management which was dutifully ignored, I then received abuse and threatening messages from the barman in question on Facebook. This is a horrible place to go, has a terrible association with drug use which has resulted in police raids as well as having people who have died on their nights out. STRONGLY AVOID THIS PLACE.

This is the worst club I have ever been too! Last night I was completely sober! I was still buying soft drinks as I hate being in the club without a drink in my hand, so they should value my custom. I was still buying soft drinks as I hate being in the club without a drink in my hand, so they should value my custom. A clearly drunk and outraged guy accused my and my friends of stealing his hat and was abusive towards us in the smoking area, we decided to come in and I reported it to the bouncers, who did absolutely nothing. The outraged guy then told the bouncer that I stole his hat and pointed me out from the crowd. The bouncer asked me to come up the stairs and stand near the exit and i fully complied, they wouldn't tell me what this was regarding. The bouncers then forcefully frisk searched me without asking for my consent. I told them to stop and said i would happily empty and turn out my pockets for them as i didn't appreciate being forcefully touched. Anyway no surprise I didn't have his hat but the guy got it back of the person who stole it. The bouncers decided to kick me out anyway, so i walked to the exit however the bouncers were shouting at me come along and were pushing me and shouting derogatory things at me treating me like scum when i was walking out of the club anyway. I asked to speak to the manager, however the bouncer refused to get them for me. So thanks to the actions of the bouncer the aggressive guy was able to take pictures of me and sent them to his friends shouting they are going to get me and i had to walk home with this guy also out of the club. I will never EVER be returning to this club.
