Smart gastropub with cosy alcoves and an open fire, serving classic British dishes and local ales.
It's been a while since I last visited but very agreeable catch up with friends outside in the large back beer garden/yard. Plenty of tables with suitable spacing but not too many people on what was a sunny Thursday lunchtime. Friendly and attentive service of course.
