Great small nightclub/ music venue! It does get quite cramped, but for students, good cheap bevs make up for it! One downside however is the bouncers. It does get quite cramped, but for students, good cheap bevs make up for it! One downside however is the bouncers. They are rather rude and abusive for no real reason and that totally ruined my experience when singled out. After it got very crowded, I was pushed onto the usually open stage; where 3 guys and a bouncer were already. The bouncer asked me to get off, and I asked him politely why the other 3 were up there as I walked off the stage. Next thing I know, the big guy has pushed me off the stage, telling me that I need to leave, and into my mates; hurting one of them as I fell into them. I cooperated and left with the bouncer following behind me. I spoke with the manager, who kind of apologised about the matter but would not let me back in as it would annoy the bouncer. I understand the protocol, but I meant no harm and caused no harm and was wrongly pushed several times by the bouncer even though I was cooperative. I love the haunt so to be treated like this was a real downer on what was supposed to be a great warm up for my birthday next week back at the haunt. That may change unless I get an apology.

Some great bands play here. A pleasently dark and atmospheric venue that is not afraid to play music loud!
