The Old Bank

I love the interior and how much lights comes inside in a sunny day. It's a very modern style pub in an old setting. Beautifully designed.

This place has changed hands quite few times over the years but never really managed to pin down much of an identity. I think it has finally managed to do that since it’s refurb in 2019. Great :) Staff are friendly and polite, never have to wait too long for a drink and the cocktails are great. Nice espresso martinis! The food is average (sorry!), it just never has been great. Having said that the scotch eggs are pretty awesome. This place sees the sun the longest of all the bars along Northcote road for those summer nights.

Together with friends we were looking for a nice place for brunch today (Sunday). The Old Bank was a great option as we were rather a big group (4 adults and child) and all other places in Northcote Rd are small and usually packed. The Old Bank has a lovely interiors, very good customer service and tasty food. I would recommend it.
